Silver Jewellery 5 week Courses
This five week silver jewellery courses is suitable for both complete beginners, and those with experience of jewellery making. Join me in my purpose built jewellery workshop to begin your journey into the wonderful world of silver jewellery making!
Working with silver sheet, wire and base metals, you will be taught a wide variety of techniques suitable to your level of experience. Starting with a solid foundation in traditional jewellery making techniques (piercing, filing, forming and soldering), we'll focus on developing and consolidating these skills while introducing more advanced techniques such as stone setting.
At the end of the course you will take away your original, handmade pieces of jewellery to be treasured forever.
Class sizes are kept small so that teaching can be adapted to suit the needs and pace of each student, in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Each block of classes is limited to four students, ensuring plenty of access to tools and tutor guidance.
Use of tools, workshop and tuition is included in the course price, along with plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits! The materials used in your jewellery will incur an extra cost, with silver and copper available at a minimal rate.
All you'll need to bring is closed toe footwear, a hair tie for long hair, a face mask and some ideas!
